Robust employee benefits program, fun and flexible work environment, and high engagement levels cited in company’s recognition as winner in the Prosperous and Thriving category
FISHERS, IND.—May 12, 2021—Formstack, a workplace productivity platform that empowers anyone to digitize what matters, automate workflows, and fix processes—all without code—today announced its placement on Inc. Magazine’s 2021 Best Workplaces list. Formstack was also recognized as the winner in the Prosperous and Thriving category for companies with gross revenue projections of $5 million-$50 million.
Now in its sixth year, Inc.’s Best Workplaces recognizes the businesses that set the standard for workplace success and value company culture, offer standout worker benefits, and prioritize employee well-being. This year, Inc. fielded thousands of submissions and determined finalists through the results of an employee survey on topics including company culture, management effectiveness, perks, and fostering employee growth.
Ranked on a scale of 100, Formstack received an overall score of 92, with "fun" being the top word used to describe its work environment. Formstack achieved 91% employee engagement across all age groups, indicating that whether employees are looking to grow their career or launch it, Formstack is a great place to work. Additionally, 88% of employees believe senior leaders at the company value people as their most important resource.
“Formstack remains dedicated to our strong foundation in culture as it evolves and grows along with every new member we welcome to the team,” said Miranda Nicholson, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Formstack. “Even through the pandemic, we’ve scaled to more than 250 employees who embrace our shared values of transparency, inclusivity, and peer appreciation in everything we do. It’s an honor to be recognized by Inc. for the second year in a row, and we’re proud of what we ‘Stackers have helped to build.”
"The definition of a positive workplace has changed drastically over the past year," said Inc. magazine editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. "Stocked fridges and nap pods were no longer perks many companies could rely on once work went remote. So this year’s list is even more important as it reveals organizations that continue to enrich the lives of its employees amid a pandemic."
Since its founding in 2006, Formstack has focused on fostering a strong, remote-first company culture. The company was named to Inc.’s 2020 Best Workplaces, a 2020 Powderkeg Top-Rated Culture winner, Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Best Places to Work (for the fifth consecutive year), Built In Colorado’s 2021 Best Places to Work in Colorado, and a 2019 Indiana Breakout Tech Culture Awards winner (Top-Rated Workplace).
